With a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology and over 8 years of experience in BSF farming, Dr. Benassi leads Kinsect with a clear vision for sustainable innovation. His expertise in industrial automation drives the development of cutting-edge solutions for insect farming.

Stefano Guerrieri
Serial entrepreneur and product developer focused on business objective and communication, hard worker. He drives Kinsect’s global outreach, crafting impactful narratives that position the company as a leader in sustainable innovation and insect farming technologies.

Expert in business management and in creating business networks, 10+ years of experience as president of the board of directors of TIL S.r.l. Mr. Ferrari manages Kinsect’s financial strategies, enabling sustainable growth.

Laura Macavei
A Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology and a recognized expert in insect rearing processes, Dr. Macavei oversees research and development at Kinsect. Her deep understanding of BSF biology ensures our technology is both efficient and scientifically robust.
Operation Manager
A graduate in biology from the University of Birmingham, Trent has a strong vision of circular economy, focusing on recycling and converting waste streams into valuable resources. His expertise in insect farming will be instrumental in our mission to optimize BSF production and scale sustainable protein solutions.
R&D Entomologist
Mohamad Baker
Food safety specialist with one year of experience in sustainable breeding and life cycle optimisation of the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens). Mohamad brings expertise in designing and implementing research-based strategies to improve reproduction, egg hatching and production efficiency.
Technology production engineer
Nicolas Ferrara
With 10 years of work experience in multinational companies in the agricultural machinery and automotive sectors, and a background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Business. He has developed extensive international cross-functional experience in management roles. Key competences: strategic and operational thinking, organisation and planning in multidimensional matrix organisations.

Agricultural Scientist with experience in rearing Hermetia Illucens. She worked for 4 years as a researcher for University of Modena and Reggio Emilia Specialising in the production of carotenoid-rich Hermetia illucens larvae through agro-food by-products.​​
