K-CAGE BATCH PRODUCTION
Kinsect’s proprietary solution
for high-performance black soldier fly (BSF) breeding.
Designed for reliability and scalability, this modular cage is ideal for batch production, from
research laboratories to industrial farms.
Working Principle:
The K-CAGE operates on a batch process principle. It is loaded with pupae ready for metamorphosis and, under controlled environmental conditions, consistently produces eggs for approximately 10 consecutive days.
Material and Quality:
The cage is built from durable, hygienic materials. The supporting structure uses corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, while the walls are made of non-toxic, smooth ABS that prevents dirt accumulation and eases sanitization.
Maintenance: The cage requires minimal maintenance thanks to durable, easy-to-clean materials and include egg collection mechanisms. Kinsect provides a maintenance manual, support, and spare parts for efficient, long-lasting operation.
Performance:
Input: 2 to 5 Kg pupae (16k to 40k individuals)
Suggested Density: 30,000 flies
Output: 200 grams of eggs/cycle
Cycle Time: 10 to 12 days
K-CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION CAGE

Multi-Room Design: The unit consists of a primary Light-Mating-Room, four Pupae-Dark-Rooms, an egg-collector extraction room, and a technical room
Biosecurity & Smart Access: An integrated biosecurity net prevents escapes and keeps flies away from key components. High-durability U-zip transparent access provides an impenetrable seal while allowing seamless entry for maintenance
